Otago Swim Coaching Academy Incorporated (OSCA) was formed in March 2006 to provide professional coaching for swimmers. OSCA is dedicated to the development of swimmers to compete at national and international levels.

Swimmers joining an OSCA Squad maintain their current club affiliation and represent their Clubs at all swim meets. OSCA is not a swim club, it is a coaching academy.

OSCA squads train daily at Moana Pool. OSCA has 4 squads targeted at various swimming levels.

  • A Squad
  • B Squad
  • C Squad
  • D Squad

OSCA’s coaching team is led by a superbly qualified international swimming coach Mr Gennadiy Labara who moved to Dunedin for lifestyle reasons and the opportunity to coach swimmers with the ability and desire to compete at the highest national and international level.

OSCA swimmers have broken 208 Otago Records and 4 National records since Gennadiy's arrival.
